BRAY YACHT DESIGN AND RESEARCH LTD 135' EXPLORER EXPEDITION SERIES
CFB Marine Group offers new yacht design and construction opportunities with Bray Yacht Design and Research Ltd. of Vancouver B.C. Canada featuring the designs of noted and international award-winning Navel Architect Patrick Bray.
Noting the rising cost of fuel and the priority of a reduced carbon footprint, Bray Yacht Design sees an imperative demand for technologically advanced "green" design. To fulfill these demands, key design priorities are:
•reduced fuel consumption •improved sea keeping •technologically advanced hull •increased range of stability •reduced wave train Combining hull research and available technology allows Patrick Bray to design a vessel withsignificant performance gains. The addition of significant appendages including bulbous bows, bifoil skegs, mid ship bulbs, and stern bulbs creates a reduction of resistance of up to 50% when combined with a Bray hull. The volume of the added appendages accounts for 15% of the vessel displacement, allowing the hull to be finer, narrower and shallower, reducing hull resistance even further.
As their new research looks to vessels over 100ft. (30m), the ultimate goal of Bray Yacht Design and Research is to have a vessel that will slip through the water without any disturbance to mark its passing...the ultimate interface vehicle. New projects utilize the hull technology to give superior fuel-efficiency and performance in a wide variety of styles and lengths of vessel:
At CFB Marine Group we share your quest for the right offshore vessel and we welcome you to explore the option of new construction utilizing the forward-thinking designs of Bray Yacht Design and Research Ltd. of Vancouver B.C....a leader in the development of super fuel-efficient long range motor yacht design.
