Combining hull research and available technology allows Patrick Bray to design a vessel with significant performance gains. The addition of significant appendages including bulbous bows, bifoil skegs, mid ship bulbs, and stern bulbs creates a reduction of resistance of up to 50% when combined with a Bray hull. The volume of the added appendages accounts for 15% of the vessel displacement, allowing the hull to be finer, narrower and shallower, reducing hull resistance even further.
